This applies especially your career choices. When you are performing work that is meaningful to you or impactful for others, you will enjoy the work more. Do not pursue something if it will not make you happy.
I have come to discover this is slightly true. At 24 I have three kids, I don't get to party or do all the crazy stuff my single friends do. I find that perfectly okay because to me this life, my life is perfect even in its mundane everyday boring moments.
