This is the Scrabble magnet board we made for my sister and brother-in-law for Christmas. We made a couple changes to enhance the durability of the paper over metal--decoupage with 1/2 Elmers and 1/2 water (I used a sponge brush), making sure to saturate completely. Let dry. Then I brushed on 2 coats of clear satin polycrylic finish (making sure to let it dry completely between coats). It turned out so well!

Great Idea! Purchase some wine glasses (bulk) or dollor store, use chalkboard paint (either spray version or regular.) The results are beautiful. Having a low budget wedding does not mean it has to look like one.
