Storage is a problem in almost every home. Take these built-ins to the ceiling for a little extra space and to make the room feel taller. A built in window seat is amazing, although don't be afraid of having 12-20" of wall space between the top of the seat and bottom of the window. That way you can lean back against the pillows without fear of falling through the screen. Also the light fixture is beautiful, and the second time I have chosen it. This room is the perfect start for a kid's room with a pull out trundle for sleepovers, or as a guest room/ office if a desk is opposite the bed. The day bed takes up less floor space and makes a perfect compromise when needing a dual function office/ guest room. Plus with the trundle you can still sleep two!

Love the storage under the window seat! Another great idea for the spare bedroom upstairs and turn into an art studio or spare guest room.
