NOTE: The balls will flatten out after sitting for awhile. Erin had the great idea to store them in plastic eggs, but I couldn't find my Easter stuff. We just used small plastic containers and rolled the balls between our palms again to regain their shape.
Even though these aren't as bouncy as a store-bought ball, they're still a lot of fun to make and play with.
HOW TO MAKE A BOUNCING POLYMER BALL: borax (found in the laundry section of the store), cornstarch, white glue (e.g., Elmer's glue - makes an opaque ball) or blue or clear school glue (makes a translucent ball), warm water, food coloring (optional).
