Stephenie Meyer: I really enjoy her books and her writing style. Laugh all you want bout the Twilight series but the writing n story line was really really good...at least in my mind it was :)
Stephenie Meyer's Twilight books are a great read, we just wish Bella would take control of her own life #Twilight
Midnight Sun: Stephenie Meyer's Twilight book that gives us Edwards point of view. She didn't finish it and we are all sad. :(
Stephenie Meyer i love her she is such a good writer and am hoping that she will someday write more twilight saga books i dont think i could handle just the ending that is done with the characters
Stephanie Meyer -most famous (so far) for the Twilight Series -as a fan of anything (or nearly anything) vampiric in literature I loved twilight. If this does not fill you with confidence that you like the same books as me then ask yourself this -have you actually read her books or have you jumped on the bandwagon of 'her books are for teenagers'..if you havent tried them do, if you dont like them then, fair enough but as they always say dont judge a book by its cover! as for the rest we'll see
Stephenie Meyer! Twilight Saga, The Host (I absolutely love this book)
Twilight author Stephenie Meyer breaks the cycle for The Host
Stephenie Meyer: Love her books even more than the movies.

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld: YA Steampunk. Love it! Love the audio too- narrated by Alan Cumming. :)
Leviathan (The Leviathan Trilogy) by Scott Westerfeld It is the cusp of World War I. The Austro-Hungarians and Germans have their Clankers, steam-driven iron machines loaded with guns and ammunition. The British Darwinists employ genetically fabricated animals as their weaponry. Their Leviathan is a whale airship, and the most masterful beast in the British fleet.
Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld: Unique young adult read, It re-imagines WWI as a conflict between nations that build machines (steampunk) and nations that evolve biological weapons, like a giant floating whale ship. Enjoyabl

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld: Super fast young adult read, I finished the entire trilogy in a week. It re-imagines WWI as a conflict between nations that build machines (steampunk) and nations that evolve biological weapons, like a giant floating whale ship. Enjoyable and not too serious.

Leviathan, the first book of a trilogy by Scott Westerfeld, is a great steampunk novel. It tells a different story about World War 1. The Allied side, which includes Russia, France, and Great Britain, breeds animals in labs to replace cars, artillery, and airships. The other side, which includes Austria and Germany, uses massive, smoke-belching machines to do everything. The story follows an Austrian boy prince and a girl who disguises herself as a boy to join the British military.
Leviathan (The Leviathan Trilogy) by Scott Westerfeld - my first steampunk, so fun!

Truly a book worth reading. Utopia? There's no such word in my dictionary. From an utopia to dystopia then chaos and anarchy ensues. This is the natural progression, the true order of things. Beautiful anarchy!
My teacher read this to us in 4th grade. Even at 9 years old it blew me away and now at 13, I still love this book as much as I did 4 years ago, though I have different opinions of the story now. The Giver by Lois Lowry, definitely worth reading
I first read this in 6th grade and again in 12th both times I enjoyed it. The Giver by Lois Lowry, definitely worth reading
The Giver by Lois Lowry - Definitely worth reading especially if you like philosophical books like the Alchemist. I think fostering people's natural potential/abilities would see more happy workers, though the suggested method in this book is all a little too extreme. Rating: 4/5

The Giver, by Lois Lowry. One of my favorite books of all time.
The Giver by Lois Lowry - hope it NEVER is made into a movie

The Book Thief is the story of Liesel Meminger. Liesel is almost ten when she ends up in Molching with Hans and Rosa Hubermann, her new foster parents. It is 1939. In Nazi Germany. Through their eyes we see Hitler and Nazi Germany; we experience the atrocities and the small kindnesses. Zusak’s story is mostly about everyday things: hunger, pettiness, laughter, hope, cruelty and kindness. Loved it.

Set during WWII in Germany about a little girl named Liesel. Clever and beautifully written. This is a book worth reading.
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This is a story about a girl in WWII Germany who steals books before they can be burned and shares them with her neighbors and a Jewish man who is hidden in her basement. The story is narrated by Death and is appropriately dark, but manages to be uplifting at the same time. So far, my favorite book read in our book club....
The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak (Book Club Kit). It’s just a small story really, about among other things: a girl, some words, an accordionist, some fanatical Germans, a Jewish fist-fighter, and quite a lot of thievery.
Steppenwolf for Young Adults presents its stage adaptation of "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak. Chicago, IL. October 16, 2012 to November 11, 2012.
The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak - This story, narrated by death, tells of a girl living outside of Munich, in Nazi Germany, named Liesel Meminger. Liesel likes to steal books from Nazi book burnings, the mayor's library, or anywhere that they can be found. After learning to read, she shares her stolen stories with neighbours during bomb raids, as well as the Jewish man living in her basement.

In the Woods (Dublin Murder Squad, #1) by Tana French - Cassie and Rob investigate the murder of a 12-year-old in a Dublin suburb with links to an unsolved crime that’s haunted Rob since he himself was twelve. Intriguing characters, nice plotting, capably written but just too long for me - Amy Henry, aka Amy Cabernet Quilts.
Tana French is one of my all-time favorite mystery writers. Her Dublin Murder Squad Series is amazingly complex and beautifully written. In the Woods, The Likeness, Faithful Place, Broken Harbor and The Secret Place
In the Woods (Dublin Murder Squad, #1) by Tana French. The first book she wrote. Not the usual police procedural; so much better.
In the Woods, Tana French. This excellent murder mystery is the first in the Dublin Murder Squad series. While I thought it was a good book, I'm sorry I read it. Click through for the full story. http://modernmrsdarcy.com/2012/07/you-dont-want-to-go-there/
In the Woods (Dublin Murder Squad #1) by Tana French. Pinner writes: "As dusk approaches a small Dublin suburb in the summer of 1984, mothers begin to call their children home. But on this warm evening, three children do not return. Sharply written and insidiously creepy, this is a mesmerizing read that grabs hold of the reader from the very first page and doesn’t let go until well past two in the morning."
The book: In the Woods by Tana French (No. 1 in the Dublin Murder Squad series) The hook: Three children go missing, but only one is found — a boy with blood-filled sneakers who lost his memory of what happened in his state of shock. That boy is now a detective who must return to his hometown to investigate a murder with similarities to his own unsolved mystery. Fear factor: Children being murdered in the woods is a recipe for an eerie piece of literature, and this one will raise the hairs ...
In the Woods - Tana French pcwl book club 7/14

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak takes place in Nazi Germany and is narrated by Death. This is a great book for both adults and teens!
"During World War II, Death relates the story of Liesel--a young German girl whose book-stealing and story-telling talents help sustain her family and the Jewish man they are hiding." A serious tale that happened in a depressing time in history reinvented into a modern way of story-telling.
