HOLE IN SPACE! In August of 2007, astronomers located a gigantic hole in the universe. This empty space, stretching nearly a billion light-years across, is devoid of any matter such as galaxies, stars, and gas, and neither does it contain the strange and mysterious dark matter, which can be detected but not seen. The large void in the Constellation Eridanus appears to

Getting a haircut in space! A New Year's haircut for ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti in the challenging weightlessness of the International Space Station. Samantha's ISS Expedition 42 crewmate, NASA astronaut Terry Virts, puts his pre-flight haircutting training into practice. Astronomers have discovered an Earth-size planet orbiting one of the nearest stars in our galaxy.

Over an 8 year period, the path that Venus travels through spacetime maps a 5 pointed star geometry, each point representing 72° of the 360° of rotation. 72 x 360 = 25,920, the number of years it takes for the Precession of the equinoxes through each of the twelve Zodiac Ages. Each Age is 2160 years: 12 x 2160 = 25920.

Earth's water older than the sun, came from interstellar ice - Somewhere between 30 and 50 percent of the water in the solar system -- including the water on Earth as well as the ice in comets, the discs around Saturn, meteorites and other planets -- was around before the birth of the sun.
