This ring dates from 1728; the absolute height of the memento mori style. It not only features the affectation of the ‘coffin’ shaped crystal, but it encapsulates the skeleton inlaid in black enamel around the band. Further to this, the element of the full skeleton inside the coffin crystal completes the sentiment. There is nowhere on the jewel that death is not represented.

The pierced plaque centring a soaring diamond-set swallow, atop a plique-à-jour enamel ocean scene with blue sky, the clouds outlined in platinum, framed by pierced florets set with diamonds, edged by black onyx.
Art Decó bracelet: Geometric pattern included and the use of the cream colour is a nice contrast to the bold black. For the assignment I could possibly have all the pages with a cream wash over theme. As long as the colour's in the photo doesn't contrast.
