The Capriana monastery consists out of three churches: the Assumption of Madonna – the oldest church, the Saint Nikolas church that is known for its unique frescos and the Saint George church that was build in a late baroque style.

Today, one of the restored buildings hosts a museum, which keeps old church books and invaluable icons that were scrupulously kept by the inhabitants between the wars and then returned to the monastery. Interior of the Red Monastery. Červený Kláštor (Red Monastery) is a medieval monastery located in Slovakia. It is located near the village of Červený Kláštor within the Pieniny Mountains, next to the Dunajec River. The monastery suffered a fire in 1907 and was heavily damaged during the Second World War, but after being rebuilt in 1956–66 it was opened again and serves as a museum.
