"Vintage Sheet Quilt" by Amber from her bebo821 flickr stream. How I wish the colors were better in this photo!

vintage sheets- I love vintage sheets. Going to use my collection and find some more for my "someday" quilt.

patchwork quilt ~ such a lovely way to use a coordinating charm or layer cake

I think each hex triangle starts out with 2 different rectangles, sewed corner to corner (like HST), then trimmed to a 60 degree triangle - still working on figuring this out, but website has some clues

IMG_1387 by deux petites souris, via Flickr I love the twist on this plus sign quilt - by off-centering the next row half a block, it's a tighter pattern - and the solid colors are cheerful - but I might like to do blues/teals/purples in a peacock progression.

figtree quilts, by ashleyw...I've made this in a clas and it was called Flying Geese. Then in other places a similar pattern was called Braids. A great way to use scraps!

This post has many variations of this style, love it!

Quilt top idea -- four patches in the center with each edged -- 20 blocks total

Very cute quilt idea - no tutorial (old etsy listing)

Yeah, I am SO buying this pattern as soon as it is released.

Beautiful! Love the simplicity of this. Three strip widths sewn randomly sewn together. Blocks will always be the same size so they are easy to twist and turn.
