Regardless of the plant material, I love the plantings on both sides of this pathway to ground it. Looks like it has always been there.

Where is this taking me? Would be cute for a yard if you lived with a wood line behind the house, then just make the stepping stones in the ground.. Take some packets of the wild flower varieties and sprinkle all around, and lead it towards the wood line! That would be so pretty!

My husband and I want to do this over our long driveway. Of course it would take a while and most likely our next generations would be the ones to enjoy it not us. But still would be worth it.

A path of simple flagstones keeps your feet dry and reduces soil compaction as you walk through your landscape.

Rustic garden... so simple and inviting, would love to have a garden big enough to have a path and borders like this. I find the light plants leading down to the shade really inviting.
