A Hutsul family in Ukraine attend Christmas Eve Dinner. In Ukrainian, Polish, and Rusyn cultures Christmas Eve is one of the most important nights of the year. Families gather together and consume a dinner consisting of twelve meals representing the twelve Apostles of Jesus. The meals are not allowed to consist of meat, except for fish.
