Habitat Passport

Travel to four different habitats and take notes all along the way! Each habitat has a specific activity along with space notes or facts! In the Grassland section compare the different speeds of the animals that live there. Travel to the Rainforest to explore the layers of the forest. After labeling the Ocean, open the flap and track a food chain! At the Desert keep track of how animals and plants adapt in their environment.

Here is a "rockin" lab activity to add to your existing rocks and minerals unit. This activity is a great hands-on approach to teaching your kiddos about the three different types of rocks and how they are formed. This tasty lesson will be one that your kids remember.
