Wrap up twenty-five children's books and put them under the tree with a special blanket next to them. Before bed each evening, your kids choose one book to open and read together until Christmas. Love it!
GREAT IDEA! Put a few 20 dollars bills in the album a year and give it to your child as a graduation gift. That way you don't drain your bank account as graduation gets closer, you have already started saving for it since the birth!
"Open when” I bought a BUNCH of cards ranging from funny, love, encouragement, etc.. Then I wrote a personal note in each. Depending on each card, I wrote when he should open it. When you are missing me, when you are frustrated, when you are having a bad day, when you need a pick me up, when you need encouragement, when you are close to coming home, when you are missing home, when you need a smile, when you just want to laugh, on your birthday... - MilitaryAvenue.com
LOVE this idea!!!! "Each year our kids must choose ten old toys to put in their Santa bags. These must be toys in decent shape that other kids would actually want. We leave the bags under our tree on Christmas Eve. Santa takes the old toys back to the North Pole to fix them up he leaves new toys in the bag. Great way to declutter, recycle old toys, and teach the kids about giving." Love this idea!!
Something great to do with your kids or grand kids for Christmas season. Buy 25 books, wrap them and place them near the tree with a fluffy blanket and stuffed toy to cuddle with. Every evening they get to take one of the books and open them and you spend some time reading to them and cuddling. Hummmm.... think I could do this as an adult also. LOL Enjoy
