Recipe: Tomato Basil Parmesan Soup - slow cooker or stove top; 1 cup each - onion, carrots, celery, 28oz tomatos, 4cups chicken broth; 1 bay leaf, 1tsp oregano, 1 T basil all in the crock pot; then make a roux with 1/2 stick butter 1T of olive; add soup; add 1/2 parm; add 2 cups milk - try 1 cup light cream and 1 cup 2% milk next time.
