Entryway Decorating Ideas --like the idea of putting windows on either side of the front door, especially when the door just opens into the room and there's no entryway or foyer. It dresses up the door and creates a focal point.

I love the idea of a church pew for an entryway bench

Make this a mudroom by substituting a long entry table with a beautiful tablescape on the right side, with a shelf on bottom for shoes and a shelf above for wicker baskets of stuff you need when leaving the house. You could also add boot trays under the bench for additional shoes.

Love this so much! Great way to create a transition and separation for the entryway - add a french door "storefront." Also gives a more traditional chic to even a modern built home.

Entry-love the height of the beadboard; exactly what I want to do in my entry.

Great use of earthy tones, sturdy furniture and accent pieces softened by happy forsythia branches & roses. For my decor I would replace the seashells with deep red apples, or orange pumpkin n ghourds for fall... If you want to buy me a little abode in Nantucket, I'll stick to the shells! Beautiful arrangement.

When there's little room in an entryway, install a wall shelf and create an art wall or gallery

in narrow entryway - skip the shelf/bench portion and just use a ledge for art and hooks for necessities. Add in some sort of short-drop ORB fixture and a front door swap with a larger window --or maybe go nuts and increase the height of the door frame and add a transom!
