I have this book. It was my grandmother Mimi's. 1956 rules of etiquette. Interesting look at manners in the 1950s.

Etiquette. Huh I'll be dang, I misspelled this word the other day. Oh well once every four THOUSAND words ain't too bad for a country girl. The meaning is more important than the spelling anyways.

Tone of voice doesn't come across at all in written comments, when you don't know a person in real life and can visualize the nuances of what is said.
