Awesome math project with Shel Silverstein's "Band-Aids." Read the poem aloud, adding the correct amount of band-aids to students as you go along! Have them do the math at the end before double checking with the ACTUAL band-aids on their friends to see if they're correct! Memorable project that hasn't failed me yet! Afterwards we write our own multiple integer 'band-aid' poems. CUTE idea!
