"Tutorial on how & why to properly clean your makeup brushes. (a tablespoon of white vinegar in a cup of hot water, and a 20 minute soak, followed by a hot, then cold rinse and pat dry will do it. Disinfects, dissolves grease/makeup, leaves no film, and inexpensive.)"

This works REALLY WELL! I cleaned a few brushes that I had cleaned last week with brush shampoo and was surprised at how much makeup came out. Equal part dish soap and olive oil, swish it around, rinse in warm water. Beautiful.

Clean make-up brushes with baby shampoo - I've been using Johnson's conditioning baby shampoo for mine for the last year, cleans better than anything and keeps them soft! I wonder if it would make a better face make-up remover too? makes sense
