Protector of the Giants photographic exhibition    The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a charity which rescues and rehabilitates orphaned African elephants, is holding an exhibition of pictures taken by three of the world's most celebrated wildlife photographers – Joachim Schmeisser, Michael Nichols and Robert Carr-Hartley. The free show will be at the Royal Geographical Society in London from 6 to 10 September 2010

The elephant nursery in Kenya! Sheldrick Foundation rescues orphaned elephants and rehabilitates them into the wild. My sister, Cheryl, and I visited this sanctuary while we were in Kenya. The work they do for the baby elephants is amazing.
