tinkering with the idea of homeschooling- this is definitely the vibe Josh and I got when we asked the teacher during Charlie's teacher conference "Do you all play games in the classroom? Are games used to teach things?" She replied "We aren't here for games" Nothing against her teacher. I like her teacher. I know it's coming from above but they are 6 years old...sitting in chairs all day. It's not natural.

OK, I NEED This on every wall in my classroom, and in at least one wall in every other room... Some days are certainly more trying than others... (btw the day I am pinning this was an awesome day!)

Even more so by the politicians and bureaucrats mandating them to test instead of teach, cutting funding for education, and trying to take away benefits and pensions for teachers causing talented teachers to go into other careers instead. Because a dumbed down populace is good for big business.
