Leftover holiday paper gets a fresh start when used to make decorations for a New Year's party. We used metallic paper to make two decorations: streamers of shimmering circles that descend from above like the Times Square ball and a set of party-worthy tray liners for serving drinks. For a final bit of recycling, we grabbed small tart tins from the kitchen and used the shiny containers to hold tea lights. A New Year's Eve celebration wouldn't be complete without a glass of Champagne, so bubbly is a perfect theme for end-of-the-year festivities. Ball-shaped ornaments displayed in glass flutes mimic the rising bubbles. Gather flutes in varying styles, and cluster them on a cake stand to craft a truly effervescent centerpiece.
paper rose streamers via Lille Syster Each flower was handmade and then artfully attached to braided hemp to create the garlands. The placement of each flower is carefully thought out so that it repeats in an effortless way. I really love these garlands!
