Beautiful, spring looking crochet blooms - the pattern is via The Flower Bed

crochet - looks like sc center spiral, then 12 chained petals that attach one row deep to see the color change. Flowers are surrounded by 6 flowers (creates diagonal), connected to two petals. Flowers added as you go.

Repeating the same shaped flowers in different techniques and similar colours brings the whole piece together instead of making it look scrappy.

Many teeny tiny flowers made into one amazing blanket. Kate loves this!

Japanese Flower Scarf Four long rows, 46 flowers in total. Measures 150 x 36cm. ((Blogged attic24.typepad.c... and attic24.typepad.c....

1st afghan I ever made was this pattern except green/brown/gold. Love these colors!

from hexie to pentagon. Image from Flickr - I would like to learn to make these using '30s reproduction fabric.

One of the best uses of buttons on a card that I have seen! I also love that this Christmas card uses colors OTHER than the traditional red and green...so cute!

Pretty potholders ideas...!
