They are bound to love it way more than some store bought-every-kid-on-the-block-has-the-same-toy, right? I'm loving all the details here, from the little valance above the "window," the wooden people painted to be the hot and cold knobs and the fun chalkboard on the side

For Ms Angela...Darrin could totally make something like this for our babies!

GREAT IDEA! As a new teacher, I know I am not going to have a lot of money to go out and spend. If I get a kindergarten classroom, I know I cannot afford an expensive play kitchen; therefore, I can go to Goodwill and buy an old entertainment center and make my own (with boyfriend's help ofcourse, haha). Plus, I can add my own touch! :)

Before and after: handmade toy kitchen from old entertainment center. I cant begin to express how clever these grandparents are, and crafty, to make this beautiful toy out of an old piece of unwanted furniture. And its a hundred times better quality than the plastic play kitchens you can buy in the store. way to go!
