This is an image of the exterior of the Anasazi Cave Dwellings which date back to around 900 BC. This is the first type of living quarters of the Anasazi. The caves were always near the agriculture of the tribes and allowed them to move as often as needed for new crop placement. This architecture reflects the subtle attempts to shift from the hunter-gatherer lifestyle to a more permanent agricultural lifestyle.

Mesa Verde, CO. I enjoy exploring this place and learning more about its people. I want to go back.

Cool Bulletin Board idea to "spotlight" a student or famous person. I would do both. Maybe every week a different actor, playwright, designer, etc to research to extra credit or a weekly report, and every now and then a student, to make them feel special having been up on the same wall as a big name.
