Eureka! I already have the tin!! Love this as a gift idea too--add magnetic stripping to the back and fill with pencils--attach to the fridge for a QUICK find of a pencil. Maybe add a little pad [with magnets on the back] so the paper is handy too. Love the metal empty spice containers!

this is one of my favorite crafts! totally diy-able Way cheaper than buying magnets. Easy and inexpensive. $5 for a bag of 100 or so peglass pebbles. Modge Podge scrapbook paper to the back of the glass and let it dry. Glue the magnets with E6000 glue.
