MICROWAVE CARAMELS 1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup light Karo syrup 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk Directions: 1 Combine all ingredients. 2 Cook 6 minutes, stirring every two minutes. 3 Stir and pour into lightly greased dish. 4 Let cool. 5 Cut, wrap in wax paper & store in air tight container. 6. Slice it up into squares for your enjoyment.
Alternative to pasta: Bring a skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove.Add slaw and 1/4 cup water. Stirring occasionally, cook until water has evaporated and slaw has softened slightly, about 5 - 8 minutes (This is actually what I did all the time when I dropped 100 pounds. Works awesome in stir-fry too, instead of rice or lo mein!)
