DIY: Wall Shelves From A Shoebox - I would maybe put some chip board along the side used as the bottom to strengthen it

Follow the steps below to make your very own. Materials: • Shoebox or Photo Box (pick one with thick walls. The thicker it is, the more sturdier the shelf will be) • Spray Paint (for the base color of the box. I used gold) • Decorative Paper (for the inside wall of the box) • Scissors • Glue Stick • Screwdriver and 2 Screws

Aren't these sweet for your home? :)

This is a super easy and cheap way to get a pop of color in any room! The whole project cost under twenty dollars! I started out by going to Lowe's and buy a 1 ft x 10 ft shelving board. Next I had them cut it down for me ( yeah I am lazy like that ;) into 12 inch by 12 inch squares.

Painted Wall Art Create large-scale wall art for a few dollars. Leftover paints applied with an eyedropper to a stretched canvas yield a Jackson Pollock-esque piece.

I am ALL about giving kids direction, and the tools to make something super artsy like this! Kind of a co-art project, with best part being the quality time spent together, and artwork to remember it. ♥

I chose an oversized juice bottle to create my ombrè flower vase, because I just love its big round bottom and tiny handle at the top! But you can use anything from wine bottles, soda cans or even milk cartons, so look around the house for anything that has a flattering shape. Follow the steps below to make your own custom vase that will be sure to add a lovely handmade touch to your home.
