Alex's favorite banned book: Brave New World (Aldous Huxley)

    • Erica Manning

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley / I have to say I'm not a fan of this novel. It started off ok then just kind of plummeted maybe 2/3 from the end. I don't recommend it. I read YA typically and read this for school. If your wanting to just read a book... Don't go to this one. I thought maybe this book will be ok.. For once in my high school life.. And it wasn't. I gave it a (2/5) stars on GoodReads. Please check out my GoodReads (.../ericamann24).

A satirical and darkly humorous narrative that places a vulnerable character at the center of mystical inquiry, religious controversy, and media hype. It's not the typical suspense thriller one would expect from this author, and that's what makes it worth reading. (Elmore Leonard, 1925–2013)
