I absolutely LOVE the idea of having a sunken living room! This would be great for having friends over and having game night, etc.

I love this...conversation pit, shag carpeting, orange pillows and beanbags, hanging chair.. the Arrow on the wall... can you get much better???

@Charlotte Willner Skiba Maybe the front room one day... in front of the fireplace, after its been painted white.

This room is gorgeous sans furniture! Add the big comfy bed? Priceless! the large windows help to brighten the space-but I'm worried about the nighttime. Would it be too dark? I'd love to see two little chairs and a cute end table rather than the couch-but none-the-less this room is beautiful.

Killer Conversation Pit Spacious conversation pit and a hi-gloss white floor running through the whole house. 2 of my favorite things... *** UPDATED INFO: this is the interior of the famed Miller House of Columbus, IN, designed by none other than Eero Saarinen in 1957. ***

that's definitely one way to manage a New York apartment! classy, i like it. big art works on those white walls that you don't want to have to paint and then paint back the next year. :)

It would be like getting in and out of a hot tub every time you got up minus the water of course
