Homemade "Vicks Vapor shower disks BAKED METHOD / 1 cup of baking soda and 1/3 cup of water (plus maybe a few tbslp more) and baking for 20 minutes at 350. THEN add a few drops of each essential oils to the cooled "puck". Remove the liners before the pan has completely cooled. Store in plastic container, mason jar, etc.

Copied from "Frugal by Choice; Cheap by Necessity" With cold & flu season upon us this is a great "helper outer"and is used while showering. It is my understanding that Vicks used to make a similar product. Apparently this works for croup coughs, stuffy noses; snotty noses and other icky stuff. I am all for it and will be making some!
