Underwater statuary, Cancun. Artists sink their sculptures to encourage plant growth and help rebuild coral reefs. | Anyone else seeing the redemption of some Weeping Angels here?!

British artist Jason deCaires Taylor has installed a massive sculptural installation called “La Evolución Silenciosa” (“The Silent Evolution“), the first project of a new underwater museum called Museo Subacuático de Arte (MUSA). Jason is known for his contemporary underwater installations that develop into artificial coral reefs over time.
