Cheesy Bacon Oven Chips 1 large, uniformly-shaped russet potato, scrubbed well and sliced into 1/8" rounds* cooking spray 3/4 C. shredded colby jack or cheddar cheese salt & pepper to taste 2 T. crumbled bacon (about 2 slices) - chopped parsley or chives, for garnish (optional)
low carb chili doritos: ¾ cup almond meal ¼ cup of flax seed ¼ cup of coconut flour ¼ cup of unsalted butter (can use salted but the chip will be more salty) 1 large egg 1½ tsp of chili pepper spice (use more if you like it extra spicy) 1 tsp of onion powder ½ tsp of cumin ½ tsp of paprika ½ tsp of salt
Kale Chips - one of my favorite snacks / simple - olive oil and sea salt; bake for 4 min in 400 degree oven (go ahead and try it - live on the edge)
Crispy Smashed Potatoes Boil potatoes in water until completely cooked through (can poke all the way in easily). Let cool for 10min. Smash the potatoes w/ a cup, coat with olive oil and spices. Bake for another 15min on top rack, then 30min in middle rack - try this with purple potatoes
