This rundown entertainment center was converted into a handy laundry station. A bright new finish teamed with well-placed hooks and shelves gives new life to a has-been entertainment center. To make the laundry station even more efficient, a folded ironing board, mounted at just the right height, tucks away when not in use. Hang all the freshly ironed clothes on a clothing bar installed in the tallest section of the unit to keep shirts wrinkle-free. The bar doubles as a spot to drip-dry delicates.
Before and after: handmade toy kitchen from old entertainment center. I cant begin to express how clever these grandparents are, and crafty, to make this beautiful toy out of an old piece of unwanted furniture. And its a hundred times better quality than the plastic play kitchens you can buy in the store. way to go!
GREAT IDEA! As a new teacher, I know I am not going to have a lot of money to go out and spend. If I get a kindergarten classroom, I know I cannot afford an expensive play kitchen; therefore, I can go to Goodwill and buy an old entertainment center and make my own (with boyfriend's help ofcourse, haha). Plus, I can add my own touch! :)
