Outdoor Wall Art - Add color to your outdoor decorating with a fence covered with suspended flowerpots. It's wall art for your outdoor room. Start with nine terra-cotta pots and coat the bases with spray paint. Next, plot the grid arrangement and secure pot hangers to the fence. Finish by suspending pots from hangers and filling each container with brightly colored annuals or herbs. (bhg.com)
I just might attempt to create this. Looks simple enough, right? A couple of 9" terra-cotta pots, spray paint, flower pot hangers and some wood screws...boom, a suspended garden. Isn't it a lovely look?
DIY HERB GARDEN :: Brilliant little terraced setup. Simple yet visually appealing. She kept the herbs in the original plastic pots, but put them in the galvanized cache pots for the lovely aesthetic. On the left appears to be an olive tree and a small citrus tree in the foremost pot. You could replicate a similar look with a (vintage) wood shoe rack.
My husband dreamed this one up. He broke the bottom out of ceramic pots planted tulip bulbs then in the summer we plant something else on top. Easy and clean to maintain in the Garden or like us along our front porch!
