Ecology of Colour / Studio Weave...painted this on the side of a building they built. why not? their form of graffiti?

This piece is really affordable and cool. May have to get it if I can figure out a place to put it.

embrace (love the way the textures merge... the raw wood & soft velvet feel :)

I feel the organic forms at the top part of the dress would be an interesting texture.

The black/white roof texture with colored shapes is a neat switch-up to an architecture project.

I'm kind of tired of owning three dozen 8.5"x11" prints, but I'd make an exception for this cutie.

blue city-- draw the city and then have the children come out one at a time, pick a house and color it in with prisma colors

"New York City" I've been in love with New York since before my first visit, age 16, after being read James and the Giant Peach for the first time age 6 or 7 maybe. I spent some more time there when I was 18 and my visits to the city have stayed in my mind and left a strong impression. Not only is it New York though, Ive always had a fascination with the city and I hope to show that in my work. Line city with colored sky. Because the direction of the line can create depth and value (light and dark), students should plan out areas visual texture in advance.
