    Bean House- just walk right in and pickem!

    My Bean House. We built a primitive frame, covered with chicken wire and let Scarlet Runner Beans take over! Scarlet Runners are a delicious french green bean, whose vines grow up to 20 feet long! They also boast a beautiful scarlet bloom that attracts hummingbirds. My favorite place in the garden!

    New bean idea for next year?

    If I could only pick one season extending structure, it would be a cold frame. Incredibly versatile, a simple cold frame is the key to taking your garden from a two or three-season plot and turning it into a year round vegetable factory.
