When you have builtins done, think outside the box a little. The stepped center bookcase breaks up what could be a long boring line. Arches tops also help. Make sure your shelves are adjustable. And painting the inside backs an accent color really helps too.

The special touches like the nailhead trim on the case pieces, the shapely legs on the ottomans and the soft rosettes on the carpet. Shapes live easily with each other and proportion is perfect!
