Vocabulary1: Guess my word game. This could easily be made by hand or on the computer. Make a circle and make 8 sections. In each section write a way the students could give a hint for a vocabulary word. For example, give 3 synonyms for the word. The student chooses a vocab word, spins the spinner, and gives the other students the hint for the word they are thinking of.

Vocabulary game...use with the spinners on my board

From Mrs. Lewis' Learning Library, "Vocab on the Move" - during a unit review in reading we typically play this game. The students all have a sentence strip with a vocab word on it. They do not know what the word is though. They have to travel around the room to find a synonym, antonym, example, sentence, etc. The clues are used to determine the word on their heads.

Jenga and Uno for review- interesting idea and looks like a great blog.

OMG, I love the idea of playing this, and it'll fit in perfectly with my Marzano element at school! :)
