Season Match-Up - - Pinned by @PediaStaff – Please visit ht.ly/63sNt for all (hundreds of) our pediatric therapy pins

My favorite season windows. Once students have learned about the different seasons, this is a cute way for them to express their favorite one. This corresponds to the NYS Elementary Science Core Curriculum Standard 4: The Physical Setting (describe patterns of daily, monthly, and seasonal changes in their environment).

This was one of my favorite books to read to my girls. A Book of Seasons by Alice and Martin Provensen.

A little publishing corner...I'd love to decorate the clipboards and use for students to publish their writing.

Great resources for young children - seasons booklet, prewriting cards, healthy eating activity, etc

Window/ Seasons craft -- I did something like this once by photographing a tree outside my window during seasonal changes. However, with this you'll have craft glue to eat at the end! ;-)

Tippytoe Crafts: Back-to-School Display freecoloringpages... <---crayon template

August Back to School Door Display--this would be fun to do: decoratet the apt door as a fun activity to mark the beginning of each quarter....make it seasonal....too cute!

Seasons chart. Make something like this for Emma. She's been talking about seasons at preschool already. Maybe even do a nature walk and collect things that signify each season (though what would we do for winter)? Leaves/flowers for fall/spring, sand for summer...
