Tattle Telephone: Press one and leave a message tattling on someone.

awesome idea - a class list with each students picture. Perfect for a sub binder. Perfect for volunteer also!!!

I love this idea!

The Sharpener that all the teachers are talking about. It was even made by a teacher...The blog also has a description of her pencil management in her classroom, very clever! I SERIOUSLY need this!!!!

I made this for the 1st Day of 1st Grade this year. Very simple and cute! I'm taking another picture the last week of school and putting the pictures in writing booklets I'm giving to parents.

Good idea.

Cute class/yes sayings!

quiet critters-when you decide it is important for students to be quiet pass out quiet critters- take them away from students who talk. At the end of the activity anyone who still has a quiet critter gets a prize, point, whatever you use. Brilliant! This would be awesome for long car rides with kids :)

Exit Ticket - great idea! Use a dry erase board with the question. Have students line up and whisper answer to teacher on the way to lunch! No paper! I like it better as the students enter the room from after lunch - it would help to calm them down quickly and help avoid all the talking before getting to their chair.

Developed in partnership with Fountas & Pinnell (creators of the Heinemann Leveled Literacy Intervention Program) this compact, folding Trolley is the perfect organizer for daily Literacy Intervention Programs and other traveling educator’s needs.

Coyne's Crazy Fun Preschool Classroom: Tattle phone time!

Students have to write in a log every time they do not turn in their homework on time and explain themselves. This helps teachers keep track of how many times the same student does not do his/her homework, makes students think about why they did not do their homework, and establishes accountability.

When the light's on, students may not talk to you. What a FABULOUS idea! Perfect for assessment time and I like this wording better than no questions.

great for table points

For next year...Students earn a chance to draw a tile and place it wherever they want. When the prize is completely spelled, the class gets that reward.

attention grabbers

Sub Tub... great to have in your classroom to be prepared for when you need a sub. Contains a Welcome Binder explaining the daily schedule, where things are in the room and anything the sub might need like computer log-in codes. Tub also has hanging folders for each day of the week with emergency lesson ideas, great books, games and other activities to do!

Put student's names on the back of your name tag so that you won't have to worry about finding the list during something like a fire drill.

Tattling, telling, bossing, and helping - what is the difference between each and how to teach them to kids
