    More from this board

My favorite pour of the day, Pennant Ale.

    Brooklyn Brewery is delightful.

Victory HopDevil, an extremely smooth IPA.

Buttercup Bake Shop, the cupcake place on my street. Their red velvet is my favorite red velvet.

Seriously the best cupcake I've ever tasted. Milkshake cupcake from Crumbs Bake Shop, marble with cake crumbs, blended frosting, and two different kinds of buttercream filling.

I'm not huge on reds, but Stoudt's Revel Red is terrific.

Brooklyn Lager. A fine way to end a night.

Goose Island IPA, an oldie but a goodie.

Probably my favorite IPA. I miss you, Founders.

Magic Hat 9, one of my very favorites. The only sweet beer I've ever really loved.

My favorite bar in NYC. Best nachos ever.

Calle Ocho is the best brunch place I've tried. Eight kinds of sangria free with any entree (all of which are delicious--food and drink alike).

Harpoon White IPA. Not the smoothest but that's its appeal.

Milkshake cupcake from Crumbs Bake Shop on Lex. The tastiest tasty.

    Sixpoint Resin DIPA. Nom.

This was an automatic top ten. Sawtooth Ale from Left Hand Brewery.

Time for me to remind the world that the Green Well is just about the best restaurant I've found in GR.

Black Hatter, a delicious black IPA from New Holland. They have some of my favorite beers, and this tops the list.

Forno Diablo, one of my new favorite restaurants in Chicago. That brick oven produced a ridiculously delicious butternut squash and brie pizza for me.

Described by Lagunitas as "homicidally hoppy," which is pretty much accurate.

If you do them right, these are perfection.

What to reach for when water would probably serve the same purpose but you just don't care. PBR, I love you.

Best thing Panera's ever done, though it's not actually macaroni at all.
