I know its a chicken house but it would make a great cat house too. My cats love it outside but putting them in something like these seems safer than just turning them loose in the backyard. Could make a tunnel from window to cat house for them to go thru.

Wire spool bird housing project, an absolutely fantastic concept! With all the raccoons around here I'd definitely use 1/2"x1" welded wire instead of poultry wire, but what a fabulous idea! I just love how these pigeons are living right inside the spools...

The "Palais de Poulets," aka Clucking Hen Garden, belongs to a couple outside of Seattle. They transformed an old ugly shed into the work of art you see here. "A flock of heirloom chickens" (whatever that is) reside there. I admit it: I'm a bit envious.
