Use a tap-it light to show think alouds during your read alouds. Tap the light "on" when you stop reading and discuss what the text makes you think. Helps students to "see" the difference between your reading and your thinking. Brilliant!

organizing parent-teacher communication (I've done this binder in past years... I like her 'reason for contact' sheet = simple layout).

I like this idea in addition to my students using their planners daily. Thank you Mrs. Thornton.

I love the look of this, but just a note of caution...my experience is that velcro doesn't stand the test of time. I would suggest a clothespin. :) Jodi from The Clutter-Free Classroom www.CFClassroom.com

This would a cute idea for an elementary school teacher to do to a bulletin in her classroom. You could do this each week and give the students reminders of what is going on during class that week and also give them a heads up on what order things are going to be done during class and give them a sense of organization in their day.

Take Home Folder. Love this idea for setting up routines for the beginning of the school year! Would be great for speech homework and additional parent communication!
