I will show this clip after my student do their journal entry that introduces the book. This will help spark an interest in the book series. As a ticket out the door I will as my students: Do book trailers helped draw their attention better than reading the summary on the back of the book. Would you enjoy seeing book trailers as commercials on TV? Why or Why not? This short response will help me get a feel for ways to get my students interested in other books throughout the year.
