There must be a lot of seven-layer dip fans because these Seven-Layer Tostadas have been a hit with everyone who's tried them. This would be perfect for Cinco de Mayo, or any time you want a quick and easy vegetarian meal. I use low-carb tortillas that are crisped in the toaster oven, but if you don't care about that using pre-cooked corn tortillas for the base would make it even faster to get on the table. 7 Layer Dip Recipe ~ Says: this dip = happy, happy people... you seriously can't go wrong when you bring this crowd pleasing fave to a get together! You can easily make this a 8, 9 or 10 layer dip as well by adding other goodies like jalapenos, crumbled bacon or cilantro. if you like to add more of one ingredient like more sour cream or olives, then go for it....make it your own.
Good stuff!! I used this recipe to make one large dip rather than individual servings. I mixed taco seasoning into the sour cream & used homemade guac (minus the onion and tomatoes). Be sure to drain the salsa so it doesn't get watery. I topped with lettuce, olives, green onions, and diced tomatoes.
