Built in dog bed - I love that the dog bed is built in to the existing storage space. It doesn't take up it's own corner or stick out anywhere. Doesn't necessarily have to be in the mudroom, it could go anywhere you have storage. Cabinets, Dogs Beds, Idea, Back Doors, Built In, Mudrooms, Mud Rooms, Corks Boards, Laundry Rooms
My hall is the same width as my front door. And my front door was made to measure because it's 3 inches narrower than a normal door. But one day I will have a hall like this!
Install a shower basin and floor drain in your mudroom to collect wet footwear. Add a wall faucet and flexible hose attachment for rinsing off mud and debris. (It's also handy for a quick pet bath.) And don't forget to include a fold-down bench for putting on shoes or stacking a few cleanup towels.
A great way to use a little area by your entrayway. Love the repurposed mini dresser (store off weather gloves, hats, scarves, doggie clothes...) and the shoe storage. May want to do in black though since Travis' work shoes are always dirty. Or, if do white can put in that snazzy drawer paper in the bottom...
Locker Room We moved this wall 3 feet into the garage to claim more space for this formerly cramped back entry. Custom locker units fit perfectly into the bumped-out space. A modern leaf-pattern wallpaper adds designer style and sets the lively color scheme in motion. Baskets above and drawers below alternate holding seasonal items, and the deep bench is a handy drop zone or convenient place to sit when slipping on or off shoes.
