Homemade Laundry Detergent Powder Recipe

Homemade Laundry Detergent Powder Recipe I have been using this recipe for 2 years with Ivory soap(one recipe says to use). It does NOT work at all. We have hard water, I really wonder if the Fels Naptha would work. I bet it would. I used ALL Free and Clear of perfume and dyes and instantly my clothes were whiter. Just beware what detergent you use and what kind of water.

Homemade Fabric Softener Recipe

Homemade fabric softener - I absolutely LOVE this! Works better than Snuggle, IMO - I did have an extremely faint smell of vinegar in my bath towels (not in the hand towels, washcloths, or any other article of clothing) I used Suave - since you can buy one bottle for a dollar - but really, you maybe save about two dollars....I would still choose this over store bought any day. |Pinned from PinTo for iPad|

Fabric Softener 1 quart glass bottle of white vinegar, add 25 drops of Lavender essential oil + 1 tsp rubbing alcohol (for emulsion). You now have a quart of naturally softening fabric softener! Good for your skin, good for your appliance and good for the planet! Pour 1/2 cup into the rinse cycle or into a fabric softener receptacle and start the wash cycle.
