Spirograph of the 1960s.  I'd like to get a copy of this old one.  Has much more in it than the newer versions.  I loved mine like this

Mercurochrome - Notice the lovely color? As you might have guessed from the name, it contained mercury. Yup. Moms all across the nation were swabbing open wounds with a concoction made from stuff now well-known to cause brain damage, kidney failure, and birth defects. Wheeeeeee!

The cure for any cut. It always left you with an orange stain.your mom would blow on the cut while she was putting it on so it wouldn't hurt.

Candy Lipstick - I kept these in my "purse" :)

I loved candy lipstick! Even though it didn't even taste all that good - it was just cool. I remember being devastated when I left my candy lipstick at the city pool when I was little.

70's toys: Sit 'n Spin....I always wanted one but my mom said it would make me throw-up ;(

Sit and spin! Now THIS is how a sit and spin is supposed to be. The ones now are so flimsy that 2 kids can barely fit on them together to really get a good spin going.

Wood paneling, heavy box TVs that look like a piece of furniture (with clunky dials for VHF and UHF), bunny ear antennas and tchotchkes. :) The good old days! this sets were placed kitty-corner at the front left corner of the living room.
