Field guide to the northern cardinal. This is an abundant, widespread bird found throughout the eastern U. and can often be found feeding at backyard bird feeders.
The Red-knobbed hornbill (Aceros cassidix) primary home is in central and southern Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is also known as the Sulawesi wrinkled hornbill. See my Asian Birds board for more info.
The black and orange Flycatcher (Ficedula Nigrorufa). Endemic to Western Ghats, Nilgiris and Palni Hill Ranges in southern India. Some studies show it's related to thrushes and chats.
Sounds of a Tennessee morning - sitting on the front porch swing listening to crows, mourning doves, mockingbirds, and a deer snorting in the woods! It is a nice place to be this morning :)
