    My son was given this recipe by his fiance's Nana! He loves her pickles! "HOMEMADE" SWEET PICKLES-48oz jar store bought Kosher dill pickles, 1 1/2 Cup Sugar, 1/4 Cup Vinegar,1 teaspoon celery seed, 1 teaspoon mustard seed. Pour pickles out of jar and drain. Cut into slices and rinse well. Place back into jar(not juice). Add remaining ingredients. Let pickles stand and then turn and shake. Repeat until all sugar is dissolved. Pickles taste better the longer they stand - at least one or two days.

Bread and Butter Pickles.....My Hubby loves these pickles, he buys them all the time, he even puts them in his Bloody Mary's (spear form of course, they do make them like that!)!!! I can and make so many other summer things like salsa, chow chow, etc but never thought to make his pickles! Now I will cause he will sure go though them quickly enough for refrigerator style!LOL

Recipe Girl-Bread and Butter Pickles...SOOO glad I found this again! Most recipes are for a HUGE batch, but this size is just right. :) I made them last year and we all loved them, and I'm sure they will be made a lot over the summer. :)
